Bio:

Thomas Halverson is currently a first year graduate student working towards his Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering.  He earned his B.S in Nuclear Engineering Science from the United States Military Academy, West Point.  He is currently serving in the United States Army as an Infantry officer with future hopes to transition into the Army’s Nuclear and Counter Proliferation Branch after finishing his Master’s degree.  His interest and project are focused on the characterization of new plastic scintillators and using these scintillators to look at neutron time of flight and light yields.
