Sherry Faye
Bio:
Dr. Sherry Faye is a Nuclear Science and Security Consortium Postdoctoral Scholar in Nuclear and Radiochemistry. She received her Ph.D. in Radiochemistry from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in December 2014. She also holds a M.S. in Health Physics from UNLV and a B.S. in Physics from the State University of New York, College at Oswego. Sherry conducted postdoctoral research with the NSSC in conjunction with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory under the mentorship of Dr. Dawn Shaughnessy. Her research involved leaching and subsequent radiochemical separations of debris collected from experiments at the National Ignition Facility.
