
Austin Gray is an undergraduate nuclear engineering student at UC Berkeley. Prior to attending UC Berkeley, Austin followed a varied career path, from food service to banking to software development. He chose college to pursue a career of science in service of humanity. His first taste of research came in San Diego working with Boyce-Astro, where he published work on binary star observations. His current research with BANG is focused on modeling ionization quenching in organic scintillators.
