Bio:

Matthew Harasty recently graduated from the College of Chemistry at UC Berkeley with an emphasis in nuclear physics. He is dedicating a year for research and study before his application to graduate programs. Matthew’s research currently focuses on the simulation of detector response functions for fast neutron spectroscopy applications. He enjoys programming, recreational mathematics, playing the piano, scuba diving, and hiking.
