Erika Hathaway

Erika Hathaway is an undergraduate physics student at UC Berkeley. Her current research supports an experimental program measuring inelastic scattering cross sections at the 88-Inch Cyclotron. In particular, Erika is measuring target thickness and uniformity using gamma attenuation. Previously, Erika has explored work in advanced aerospace projects, completed research in Earth’s ancient magnetic field, and investigated the electrical properties of graphene. In her free time, she enjoys practicing piano and practical applications of geophysics (gem and mineral collecting!).
