Juan Manfredi

Bio:

Juan Manfredi is a postdoctoral scholar under Dr. Bethany Goldblum working on scintillator characterization for neutron detection, as well as the development of a single-volume neutron scatter camera in collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories. His primary research interest is to leverage cutting-edge detector technology, sophisticated software methods, and nuclear physics knowledge to further the advancement of both fundamental and applied science. Manfredi earned his PhD in Physics at Michigan State University studying transfer reactions for nuclear structure. During graduate school, he was supported by the NNSA Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship.
