Thibault Laplace
Bio:
Thibault Laplace is a Research Engineer in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. After receiving his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley investigating statistical properties of Pu-243 in 2016, he previously served as a Nuclear Science and Security Consortium postdoctoral fellow under Dr. Bethany Goldblum working on scintillator characterization for neutron detection applications. His research interests include basic and applied low energy nuclear physics, nuclear data, neutron detection, and scintillator physics.
